Tips To Buy Mobile Pressure Washers

Mobile pressure washers are handy machines for cleaning public places, stadiums, parks, and pavement. These are essential if a cleaning company wants to do an effective job and satisfy clients. The internet is home to a wide variety of pressure washing machines. However, the abundance of machines makes it difficult to choose the right one. The following are some practical tips to buy good quality mobile pressure washers.

Power Source

One of the major considerations while selecting mobile pressure washers is the type of power source. Pressure washing machines use either an electric motor or a combustion engine to derive power. Machines with a combustion engine require fuel, such as gasoline, propane, or diesel, while machines with electric motors require an electric power source.

Most professionals prefer pressure washers powered by fuel for outdoor cleaning. One such machine is the Super Max™ 12500 DE supplied by Daimer®. It is powered by diesel and heated by propane. With pressure levels of 3000 psi, flow rates of 5 GPM, and a temperature up to 330°F, this machine is perfect for outdoor cleaning. In many cases, electricity is not readily available in outdoor settings. As such, fuel powered pressure washers are often preferred, as they do not require an electrical outlet. However, electric machines can be used if an electrical outlet is present or by using a generator.

Type of Mobility

There are two types of mobile pressure washer: wheel mounted and trailer mounted pressure washer Mobile machines can usually be converted into trailer mounted machines by simply removing the wheels. For jobs that cover extremely large areas, trailer mounted pressure washers are helpful. For lighter cleaning jobs secluded to a smaller area, machines with wheels are sufficient.

How to Choose Mobile Pressure Washers for Industrial Degreasing

Mobile pressure washers are commonly used for industrial cleaning applications. These machines are durable and powerful with the ability to eliminate tough dirt and grease stains from many hard surfaces. Mobile pressure washers have attached wheels that can be taken off allowing the machine to be mounted onto trucks or trailers for easy mobility. Wheel mounted systems are suitable for areas where vehicles are not allowed or cannot fit, as with many applications indoors. Mounting the machine on a truck or trailer is ideal for transporting the machine over long distances. The following are a few tips for choosing mobile pressure washers for industrial cleaning

Power Sources

For indoor cleaning, electric pressure washers are generally recommended. These machines produce no exhaust fumes and are less noisy than fuel powered machines. However, these machines can be used outdoors if an electrical outlet is available or if a generator is handy. Fuel powered machines are ideal for outdoor cleaning, where electrical outlets may not be as abundant. If the indoor area has adequate ventilation, fuel powered machines can be used.

Alternatively, Daimer® includes Long Hose Technology with every pressure washer. This ensures maximum cleaning power with hose lengths up to 300 feet. In the case of electric powered machines, operators can place the system near a plug point and reach the desired application. In the case of fuel powered machines, operators can place the system in a well ventilated area and reach indoor applications without risk of introducing fumes indoors.

Output Pressure and Temperature

Daimer®, a quality supplier of cleaning equipment, has introduced tri-mode pressure washers featuring cold water, hot water, and steam temperature output. For degreasing, heated machines are suggested, as cold water may not effectively eliminate grease. For example, the Super Max™ 12300 offers pressure levels of 3000 psi and steam temperatures up to 330°F to effectively melt and blast away stubborn grease residues. With the addition of green cleaning chemicals, such as Daimer®’s Eco-Green® Ultra Power Degreaser, even cold water machines can remove grease due to the powerful, degreasing action of this green cleaner.
